- Post-merger integration, 14 countries — Partnered with the CFO and CTO of FrontRange Solutions on the integration and change plan for a post-merger NetSuite rollout; standardized processes worldwide while shortening the timeline. Similar finance standardization for Expedia/Venere across four countries.
- Global transformation programs — OCM strategy for Technip's ERP transformation across 17 legal entities; HR transformation change strategy for Société Générale CIB in 45+ countries; a global Financial and Procurement template with shared-services centers for Laureate Education, rolled out to 10+ countries.
- Public sector at scale — Built and led the countywide readiness program for Miami-Dade County's ERP implementation (24 departments, 28,000 employees); directed San Mateo County Transit District's three-year Business Optimization Program; rescued the City of Los Angeles' Financials upgrade by relaunching its testing phase.
- Regulated manufacturing and life sciences — Cutover Lead for Bristol Myers Squibb's Oracle-to-SAP transition at a GMP cell-therapy plant (2024–2025); release manager for a GxP-validated global patient-services platform through 13 releases and an Agile SAFe transition; clinical supply-chain reengineering at Gilead.
- Building organizations that deliver — At PeopleSoft/Oracle, built eight QA teams and three automation teams across four continents and a follow-the-sun process that cut release testing time by 40% and saved about $4M a year. Earlier, as Procurement Director at EDF/GDF, led 40+ buyers through an SAP supply-chain rollout.
About
Nexos Advisory LLC is the practice of Claude Denys, a well-rounded business leader with more than twenty years steering strategy, operations and transformation programs for public-sector, life-sciences, financial-services, education and technology organizations in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has run his own consulting firm, held principal roles at Slalom and Infosys, directed a global quality organization at PeopleSoft/Oracle, and led procurement at a national utility.
How he works: he sees the big picture and is comfortable drilling into the details, and he leads teams by empowering the people on them. Team members own their results, are accountable for them, and are measured on quality delivered on time and on budget rather than on volume. Executives get a straight answer; the plan reflects what the organization actually expects, not what a template says.
He is, by instinct and training, a risk manager. Every plan he runs carries its "what if?" scenarios from day one: a living risk log with owners, prevention where a risk can be designed out, mitigation and contingency where it cannot, and a review cadence that keeps the log honest rather than decorative.
Before business, Claude was a military test pilot and squadron leader, then chief operating officer of the French Army Aviation School. The habits carried over: anticipate, prepare, follow the checklist, and stay calm when the unexpected arrives anyway.
